Recent events

Gathering of Herbal Women

When women came to gather herbs at Our Global Family Farm on March 8th they also gathered together to create relationships with one another.

It was a magical time of slowing down to appreciate one another and to appreciate all the medicinal and culinary plants in the garden.

This experience is more than educational; it’s an invitation to cultivate a profound relationship with nature and community through shared stories and practical skills. Want to deepen your connection to nature and learn age-old healing arts? Join us for our next Herbal Harvest Day!

Ways to Reconcile from the book “52 Ways to Reconcile, How to Walk with Indigenous Peoples” by David A. Robertson

Support Indigenous Musicians

Local Musicans We Love

The more support we show the more impact musicians can have!

“We need more local storytellers and musicians. The more support we provide them, the better opportunities for new, emerging, and established musicians to do their work, pursue their dreams, and spread their message.” (pg 42)

Multicultural Potluck

Middle Eastern Potluck March 15th at Our Global Family Farm

Multicultural Potlucks are held monthly on the farm. Join us on the third Sunday at 1pm. These connect us to our family roots & cultural heritages from around the world. Gather in celebration at our Multicultural Potlucks, where every meal is a testament to the rich tapestry of cultural diversity that defines our community. These potlucks are more than just food events—they're dynamic spaces for cultural exchanges, where you can share stories, food, comradrie.

More than one billion Muslims across the globe will soon celebrate a holiday called Eid al-Fitr. Eid al-Fitr, means the “Holiday of Breaking the Fast.” It is one of the major holidays of the Islamic faith. This holiday spans over three day with the first day marking the end of the month of Ramadan. The month of Ramadan Muslims refrain from eating, drinking, and intimacy with their spouses from sunrise to sunset. In the evening, they gather in the mosque to perform a special congregational prayer called Tarāwīḥ. (Note: The official end of Ramadan is March 19th, however our potlucks are held on the third Sunday, so that falls on March 15th.)
